Terms of Service

1. About ThinkerTots

ThinkerTots is a mobile application that uses AI to help Singapore students practise PSLE Primary Science open-ended questions. By using ThinkerTots, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

ThinkerTots is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) or the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).

2. AI Disclaimer and Limitations

The grading provided by ThinkerTots is powered by a third-party AI system (OpenAI) and is intended as a practice aid only. We cannot guarantee:

• The accuracy or completeness of any grading result
• That the AI's marking rubric exactly matches the current PSLE marking scheme
• That model answers provided are officially sanctioned by MOE or SEAB

The AI may occasionally make mistakes, including awarding incorrect marks, missing key points, or providing inaccurate model answers. If you believe a grade is wrong, use the "Report a mistake" button on the result screen. We welcome feedback to continuously improve the system.

You agree that you will not rely solely on ThinkerTots results for academic decisions. We strongly recommend checking important results with your child's teacher or tutor.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must sign in with Apple or Google before using the app. We do not offer email/password sign-up.
• You must be at least 13 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account.
• One account per person. You may not create multiple Apple or Google accounts to exploit the free-try allowance.
• You are responsible for the Apple or Google account used to sign in. Notify us immediately at support@tinkertots.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may sign out from the Account tab. Signing out shows the welcome onboarding screens again, then sign-in. It does not delete your account or reset your try balance; sign in again with the same provider to restore access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free Tries and Purchased Credits

Each new account receives 3 free grading tries for the lifetime of that account. Additional tries can be purchased as consumable packs (Starter, Standard, Value) or via an Unlimited monthly subscription.

• Free tries are counted per account and do not reset when you sign out, reinstall the app, or change devices.
• Free tries do not expire.
• Consumable try packs (Starter, Standard, Value) do not expire once purchased and are tied to your account.
• The Unlimited monthly subscription auto-renews via Apple unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Active tries or status are not guaranteed to persist after cancellation.
• If you change phones or reinstall the app, log in to the same account to recover your remaining tries. Consumable packs are linked to your account, not your device.
• The Restore Purchases button restores active subscriptions (Unlimited plan) only. Consumed try packs are not restorable. They are deducted from your account upon use.

5. Payments and Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Prices are shown in the currency displayed in the store screen. We do not handle payment details directly.

• All purchases are final unless required otherwise by Apple's refund policy.
• To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and submit a refund request to Apple directly.
• If you encounter a technical issue that prevented you from using your tries, contact us at support@tinkertots.ai and we may offer goodwill credits at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the grading service
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or circumvent the grading AI or our systems
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or in violation of any applicable law
• Share your account or sign-in access with others

7. Prohibited Content

ThinkerTots is designed exclusively for uploading PSLE Primary Science question and answer sheets. You may not upload images that are sexually explicit, violent or graphic, abusive or hateful, or otherwise unlawful under Singapore law.

All uploads are automatically screened for prohibited content before grading. No credit is deducted when an upload is rejected for prohibited content or when we cannot read your photo clearly.

Three-strike policy (lifetime):

• Strike 1: Warning by email and in the app. No credit deducted.
• Strike 2: Final warning by email and in the app. No credit deducted. If this occurs within six hours of Strike 1, grading is paused for six hours instead, as a cooling-off period.
• Strike 3: Account permanently suspended, regardless of timing. Purchased credits are non-refundable. Parents or guardians may appeal at support@tinkertots.ai.

Photo quality: If your photo is too blurry or incomplete to grade, we will not use a credit. Repeated unreadable uploads may result in a brief pause to protect the service; we will explain why and when grading can resume. This is separate from the three-strike policy above.

ThinkerTots may suspend or close accounts at its discretion for violations of this policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software in ThinkerTots, including but not limited to the grading AI system, mark rubrics, and model answers, are the intellectual property of ThinkerTots. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ThinkerTots is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that grading results will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, ThinkerTots and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on any grading result.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ThinkerTots in the 30 days immediately preceding the claim.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
